Gospel Lakes main camp is located in New Waverly, Texas , about an hour north of downtown Houston . This camp sits on 70 acres and includes a 7,000 square foot camp building, pavilion, several fishing ponds, and a 6 acre recreational lake scheduled to be finished in the spring of 2008. An additional camp is also being built in the Rio Grande Valley.
The main camp building includes a large dining area and kitchen, bathrooms, camp office, chapel, and bunk rooms.

Outreach Day Camps
This is where our day camps take place with 100 – 200 children attending, plus up to 100 adult and youth volunteers on any given camp day. Activities include horseback riding, fishing, paddleboat’s, face painting, crafts, challenge course, archery, hay rides, story time, a gourmet hot dog lunch, and of course chapel.
Youth Training
Gospel Lakes hosts and/or provides training to church youth groups on effective ways of presenting the Gospel to their peers and others. From single day to overnight sessions, we have trained hundreds of youth in evangelism and leadership.
Small Retreats: Pastor, Ladies, Men’s
Gospel Lakes is also perfect for a small group looking to get out of the city for retreats. Facilities make a one day or several day stay and easy undertaking.
Church Picnics
Looking for a place to yourself for your church picnic? Gospel Lakes is just far enough from the city to be a convenient place for your next church outing. We have hosted numerous church picnics and meetings.
Other activities include catch and release fishing tournaments (Spring of 2008), Weddings, overnight camp outs, Banquets, and Seminars. All Activities must be booked in advance, please contact us for more information.
